Athletes Empowered is based out of Whitchurch-Stouffville, ON. We are mobile - we travel to you!
We visit homes, retirement residences, gyms, community centres, sports arenas, and more!
We do have a location in Stouffville that can accommodate up to 6 participants (3 pairs).
Choose from the Concussion Education Presentation (CEP), Concussion Baseline Testing (CBT), and Baseline Movement Screening (BMS).
The CEP can be booked individually (perfect for a class or community education seminar).
CBT is booked in a pair with the CEP.
BMS can be booked individually. This service comes with its own presentation.
Services are offered individually (one participant and one Athletes Empowered facilitator),
in partners (two participants and one facilitator),
in small groups of 2-10 (one facilitator),
in medium groups of 12-20 (two facilitators/assistants), and
in large groups of 22-40 (up to four facilitators/assistants).
Additionally, we have further categorized groups into ages:
Youth are ages 4-17,
Families are all ages,
Adults are 18+, and
Seniors are 65+.
Individual services are perfect for those seeking one-on-one care at home. This is ideal for youth, competitive or elite athletes, individual sports (such as horseback riding and martial arts), and seniors.
Partner services provide two-on-one services at home for couples, friends, parent-and-child, partnered sports (such as tennis and figure skating), youth, and seniors. Partners can be of any age.
Small groups are ideal for youth ages 4-10, small sports teams, fitness groups, community groups, and seniors seeking services at their local school, gym, community centre, or retirement residence.
Family services cater to all ages and includes parents, kids, cousins, grandparents, and chosen family at home.
An individual family is 4-6 participants comprised of one family, whereas a group of families is 4-12 participants comprised of two or more families.
Medium groups are ideal for youth ages 11-17, sports teams, fitness groups, and community groups seeking services at their local school, gym or community centre.
Large groups are ideal for youth ages 14-17, sports teams, fitness groups, and community groups seeking services at their local school, gym or community centre.
Your Athletes Empowered facilitators will be Keeley RMT and/or Elijah RMT.
AE also employs healthcare students (such as athletic therapy and kinesiology) as assistants to co-lead the activities portion of your session to improve the participant-to-facilitator ratio.
